Personal health information

At your first appointment you will complete a personalized health history form, which will enable me to develop an appropriate treatment plan for you. Any information that is provided to me in writing or during your treatment is completely confidential and cannot be released without your written consent.

What to wear
Massage Therapy is a hands-on practice and is most effective when treatment is provided in direct contact with the skin. If you wish to remain fully or partially clothed it is a good idea to wear clothing that is soft and comfortable. You will have privacy to undress to your own level of comfort. Throughout the massage you will be covered by a sheet and blanket, specific areas of your body will be uncovered as they are being treated.

Your treatment

It is important that we discuss your treatment goals and communicate well. You will receive the most benefit from massage therapy when we work together towards a common goal. Please feel comfortable providing me with feedback and asking questions before, during or after your treatment.

Gratuities

Many people wonder or ask if they should tip their Massage Therapist. Traditionally, gratuities are provided to individuals that work in the service industry. Registered Massage Therapists are regulated health professionals, and for me that means I choose not to accept tips. The best gratuity you can provide is a recommendation to a friend.
